Alfie Lewis (age 19) was an unused sub for Racing de Cordoba in a 1-4 loss to Tristan Suarez in Argentina's Primera Nacional (2nd Tier).

Thanks to Diaspora Football on X for advising about him.
What a life experience!

Is Stefan Markovski John Markovski’s son?

Hollman not making squads in League Two is the most perplexing thing to come out of this transfer period.
100%

The only way the move ever made sense if he had been guaranteed to be a key first team regular but he's barely even got a look in!! WTF?!?!

It's not even arrogant to say Hollman is technically above the rest. A mix of things I suspect that he can't adapt to the tactics and Walsall is a rough place. Loans to higher levels happen at times... Get him to League 1.

Or he is simply not good enough.

Yeah is one of the weirdest moves a Aussie player has done in this recent transfer window.

He’s more than good enough technically, but maybe the wrong style of football in the league and club.

problem is technique doesn't matter much compared to physicality when you play that far down the english pyramid

The games have less than half the passes per match that an a league game has. Is he good at getting stuck in or getting on the end of aerial crosses? If not then he will be deemed not good enough

A player who was technically sound in the A League not good enough for League 2? Yeah, nah. It's a different style of football. Akin to Scotland.
interestingly, scotland might be finally changing style in line with other countries

this year there have been 6 teams that are completing 300+ passes per match compared to just 3 teams in 22/23

I've noticed a gradual change of style watching players there

You really have a problem admitting that Australian footballers might not be all you think they are, don’t you ?

There will be many people who rate the A league on a par to league 2, and most will reside in Australia.

how often do you watch league 2 matches?

I am not one who rates the A league on a par with league 2, league 1, in a lot a cases yes.

I actually watch the highlights every week of all the games on the EFL show.
highlights don't tell you a lot. Glad you rate the a league higher than league 2

Does it correlate to table position? How many are Aberdeen stringing together?

No Drew for Hartberg still out with a back injury.

Bos starting for Feyenoord.

Reasonably well correlated by seasons end. Aberdeen are currently 7th on this metric
