Wrexham have just taken the lead against Derby with Elder on the bench.

Segecic starting, Matthews bench but 5 changes for Portsmouth. Irankunda starting.
 
Max Ballard coped a red card in the 71st minute with a two yellow cards in a space of a few minutes as NAC Breda lost to Ajax which was 2-1.

It’s a shame otherwise he’s been doing quite well.

shame as we could use a full strength squad to test ourselves against stronger opposition

still, probably a good chance to give some younger players in cm a look. I suspect though our best cm pair in the world cup and possibly the asian cup will be luongo+irvine
 
Carter got 41 minutes....starting at the highest level of all strikers but didn't make half time (assuming no injury)
So hard to know what to make of that
Duke also got game time playing the first start
 
kuol and metcalf got minutes. Hopefully irvine is bac soon

I want to see Luongo and Balard.
 
I also would love to see Luongo in the squad, but surely if he doesn't make either one of the next two windows he's done in a Socceroos shirt with the World Cup just around the corner.

I'd be happy to rotate those three with one coming off the bench. A novel idea (ha) may be to drop a CB and play with all three. Balard is such a good screener I think that's still defensively robust.
