based on what? one championship campaign that our club didn't give a fuck about? all of a sudden we are a mess.

if A-League clubs got expelled from top tier football in this country, they will cease to exist within 5 years. You think Macarthur, CCM, Brisbane Roar would exist 30 years later?!

The fact that our clubs are still around 30 years later is a credit to the people who kept the lights on. Sydney United have become one of the most successful NSW NPL clubs in this time.

If there is one thing i can agree on is that the masks are off for many, not to our surprise...what a waste of effort to try hide your true selves though as ive long said.

What really surprises though, is how borderline dillusional some are given how those that have failed their own breakaway self managed league, who continue to live in an 'entitled' exclusive bubble, can somehow continue to blame the NSL etc for the issue they brought upon themselves! The NSL they killed off to fix thw very problems they complain about today! Murderer blaming the victim!

Loong hard look in the mirror lads if you want to see the issues plaguing YOUR league, not one concession from US and we stick to ours till you are ready to actually accept change for the good of the game! Till then i will continue on the path of #deathtotheAleague happily without having strayed once or hidden it unlile some hypocrites!

Frank Lowys Plastic New Dawn Pty Ltd comp have been hoping the old NSL clubs just shut up shop and die away for the past 20 years, its all about resilience, we can wait.

Whats the issue regards eurosnobs - you can’t force people of their pref such is life.
RIMB exactly the break away super league in nrl caused a lot of harm and angst similar to what AL Lowy did - took sometime to settle issues and the scars are still there ie Storm winning titles and having them stripped from memory.
Staj was talking g about everything more than the old clubs - it was about the lack media and what the report.
Then the Feds etcetc he was about bringing it together finally not against old clubs.
Small mindedness much by a couple of posters and trolling more than anything.

Stajic was ONLY talking about football as a "product" and ONLY about the Aleagues, go back and listen to it mate... nothing about football there, just wanting to be like Velandopoulos and advertise the brand.

Thats a surprising observation considering you live in Britain mate... we are downright fanbois compared to other country's relationship with the national team manager.

So you were just happy with the top tier continuously just plodding along? Whether or not it was the right way, change had to happen one way or another and Lowy was the only one willing to stump up the cash.

Well yeah, SU58 not happy about being “expelled”, now they had there chance to shine on the national level and they suddenly don’t give a fuck?
