Whats the issue regards eurosnobs - you can’t force people of their pref such is life.
RIMB exactly the break away super league in nrl caused a lot of harm and angst similar to what AL Lowy did - took sometime to settle issues and the scars are still there ie Storm winning titles and having them stripped from memory.
Staj was talking g about everything more than the old clubs - it was about the lack media and what the report.
Then the Feds etcetc he was about bringing it together finally not against old clubs.

Agree totally on Staj - talking "football" in this country and not any one issue or cause. There's a lot more than just the Hatfields and McCoys in this battle.

I definitely think he has a fair point about how quickly we turn on coaches here. I don't remember a national team coach we have liked apart from the short term glamour coaches

If we are going to have a positivity thread, what are the biggest moments in the game that still bring a smile to your face? For me:

- Sydney 2000, results were bad but it was the first time I've followed oz football teams closely
- Uruguay 2005
- Australia 2006
- WSW asian champions league. Couldn't believe it
- Winning the Asian cup at home
- Home womens world cup
- Making r16 in Qatar after beating peru
- winning the u20 asian cup

I can't speak for other mods but I try and take a lot into account when modding

are they a new poster (in which case I tend to be more protective), are they a poster that prefers to just let things go (I check), do people have the option of checking out or are they being followed into other threads. If none of that happens I'd rather let things go. Even if there is something black and white like a racial/xenophobic/homophobic slur I ask people to self mod

the fact that lupi got banned with the light touch modding we do is pretty impressive....

The bloke is a racist and an Anglophobe.

My main beef is with the Eurosnobs.

If the Eurosnobs wake up and smell the coffee we won't need the NSL luddites.

The NSL luddites can live in the 80's all they like in that Championship for all I care.

Box2box is fantastic and this is no knock on them, but brendon says surprisingly little in 40 minutes

The three specifics i picked out were
1) crawford report not followed
2) "perhaps we need another governance review"
3) lobby against the social media ban which he views as hurting their ability to get youth interested in football
