Sign Up Now!Go the Mariners!Tiana Fuller scores in the 44th minute to extend the Young Matildas' lead to 2-0. Peta Trimis with the assist.
Not ready, she needs to play with more confidence.I wonder how many will get moves overseas from this squad. Alexia Apostolakis maybe?
Such a great player!!!TRIMIS !!!! AGAIN![]()
I disagree, I don’t think that being a part of a tournament winning team guarantees anything.I think Alexia Apostolakis would have been a shout to eventually make the move overseas regardless but depending on how the Young Matildas run, I'd say the most likely out of the 23-player list to secure transfers abroad would be her and Shelby McMahon given that they'll possibly have won the AFC Women's Champions League with Melbourne City also in addition to making waves at the under-20 Women's Asian Cup.
Kyra Cooney-Cross won the A-League Women grand final with Melbourne Victory in season 2020-21 and ended up making the move overseas the following season so in theory Alexia Apostolakis and Shelby McMahon should follow suit also.I disagree, I don’t think that being a part of a tournament winning team guarantees anything.
I think your theory is full of holes.Kyra Cooney-Cross won the A-League Women grand final with Melbourne Victory in season 2020-21 and ended up making the move overseas the following season so in theory Alexia Apostolakis and Shelby McMahon should follow suit also.
Izzy Gomez will be more likely to make the move overseas than Peta Trimis or Tiana Fuller but all three of them definitely have the potential to make it overseas in the future. Are you telling me that, ,for instance, because the Mariners won the grand final in 2025 that Gomez, Trimis, Fuller will make a move overseas?
