Eze bids farewell

The Wellington Phoenix can confirm Ifeanyi Eze has decided to pursue options outside of the A-League and will not be returning to the capital.

Ifeanyi Eze has been delisted by Wellington Phoenix to pursue opportunities elsewhere outside of the A-League Men following a standout season where he shared the club's men's player of the year award with their captain Alex Rufer in addition to winning the side's golden boot after scoring ten goals in 27 appearances across the one year of service time in all competitions.

Championship-winning fullback returns home

James McGarry has rejoined the Wellington Phoenix to help the club lift its first major trophy.

James McGarry has been transferred from Brisbane Roar to Wellington Phoenix and will rejoin the side for the next two A-League Men seasons through the end of season 2027-28, having previously played for them during seasons 2020-21 and 2021-22.
