A-League Mens 25/26 - Semi Finals

To be fair some European leagues also have playoffs (for the title, for European places and/or for promotion/relegation) and league splits. This proves that finals and pro/rel can coexist.
Not the same, there is not a final deciding match usually, just series of matches between top 4 or top 6 or whatever and usually only becuase there are not enough matches in regular season...

Anselmo de Moraes forced off with injury in the 24th minute for Adelaide United and is replaced by Luka Jovanovic, who makes his return to play after serving his suspension.

gee this game has been a disgrace, reminds me of a grand final involving muscat a few years ago where teams just know that all the media pressure is to "let the game flow" and teams take advantage of it by constantly getting away with fouls

Alargic showing good balance to keep forward momentum when auckland try and foul him

man Adelaide would have a right to be aggrieved, a soft pen after a bunch of professional fouls just ignored by the ref

The officials all finals series are allowing an absurd amount go, and it is causing a lot of frustration. IMO it is having a negative effect on the quality of the games.

Lots of fouls by Auckland early in the game should have had yellow cards.Adelaide look gassed.Goodwin needs to work his magic when he comes on

It comes from stupid pundits claiming it makes the spectacle better to "let stuff go"

anyone remember that rugby game grand final when muscat was coaching victory? Unwatchable
