Couldn't find any info on which (if any) games will be on FTA.
I would guess the SFC / NJ leg 1 and the AU / ACK leg 2, but not 100% sure.

Yeah they should be consistent. Why are elims one leg but semis are two?
There's nothing wrong with the current format but if APL were to change the finals format to single legged fixtures then they'd either have to implement a pre-finals bye week or extend the home and away season to have one more matchday which wouldn't really be ideal for stakeholders.

Far be it for me to comment on the A League, but from a pure 'share the spoils' point of view, it is nice that one of the less successful teams in the A League will probably win the GF. Unless Sydney FC ruin the party.

Footnote: Adelaide are 'less successful' insofar as to they only have one GF victory. Newcastle only have 1 victory, but they have been cellar dwellers for far longer. And Auckland, of course, have only been in the league for 2 seasons.

Well it appears that because my kids want to go to the SFC/NJ that I'm going, I did tell them that daddy is too cheap to pay for parking so we're walking for 10 minutes to the ground however they've chimed in and told me that public transport is free to and from the game. However I'm still parking 10 minutes away because I can. Plus I want to have pre game pizza somewhere. Anyway it'll be a good game however I can't see Sydney winning if Newcastle stick to their game plan and hit Rhynan Grants right back side as he's slow as a wet weekend.

Sydney do have a very good track record when it comes to finals though. I wouldn't at all be surprised if the first leg was a tie or SFC leading at the end. Jets are good but concede too many goals. Sydney are way stronger at the back, but weak up front. Maybe Lolley will fix that, maybe not. Either way, I don't think Jets will have it easy. If it ends up at a shootout next week, my money would be on Sydney to win.
