If they count the seagulls I reckon we could crack 3K tonight in Melbourne.

Sign Up Now!Mariners aren’t in the top six but true about Adelaide.Adelaide and the Mariners are traditionally as young or younger than Newcastle.
Loved it.That has to be the dumbest red card in history![]()

Maybe we could actually turn up to a proper full home and away type football pyramid with 16 or 18 teams in the top two divisions with Promotion and relegation. You know, like a real football competition! Where games at season's end count for things. Wouldathunk!!The regular season ends with an average of 8,474, a drop of 7% on last season, but more than two seasons ago. The last two rounds had more than decent attendances.
Any club by club figures yet Sutho? The regular season ends with an average of 8,474, a drop of 7% on last season, but more than two seasons ago. The last two rounds had more than decent attendances.
Not to take anything away from the Jets this season. They were the best squad this season and deserved the title. It's all relative though. Their defensive record was not good at all and like every other team this season they also lacked consistency. Conceding 39 goals (5th worst in the league) and still managing to win the thing speaks more about the rest of the clubs than the Jets themselves. No A-League premier has ever had a GA that bad. For that reason, I reckon if you ask Jets fans how confident they are heading into finals, you might be met with mixed responses.Imo the Jets this season have been the best thing that has happened to the A league in many years. This is the first time in a long while that I have been able to feel optimistic about the future of the competition.
All true but I just liked watching them play. They weren't perfect but they sure were entertaining. Not to take anything away from the Jets this season. Milligan will have a bit of a task on his hands in the off season. He'll need to find replacements for Rose (8 goals) and (most likely) Taylor (9 goals) but more importantly he'll need fix those defensive issues. Easier said than done. I really hope he succeeds though as I believe he has what it takes to become a very good coach.
