My take is, it was probably the ANZAC service.

I've been very impressed with the anzac service that's been done this round

Macarthur's last game of the A-League Men home and away season against Wellington Phoenix was also Damien Da Silva's last match before retirement so that may have contributed to the increased crowd size.

If anyone knew who Damien Da Silva was I'd be very surprised.
