I'd say Marcus Younis is quite close to being on the plane to the World Cup come June and will likely be a differential option for the Socceroos but if he continues his remarkable form for Melbourne City next week and throughout the finals series then there's no reason why he can't make the 26-player list.

hmmm. not much to recommend between SFC & PG.
Having said that, I have to say why is Shamoon playing at this level? His passing is poor and definitely overrates his capabilities. Jayden Kucharski left SFC because he wasn't getting enough minutes - he does the work but his final effort is just bad, he had two opportunities with plenty of time and he tried to shoot satellites with the ball. I can understand why Talay was reluctant to give him a start, a younger version of Arzani. Then why did Griffith wait so long to bring on Colakovski? It is almost as all he wanted to do was to get a draw. Finally Taggart is just living off past glories (pun intended).
As for SFC, they looked like a team of professional players but the final third effort was inadequate. Finally, Kamijo - underrated. Calm across the middle, directed play reasonably well, just needs a bit more experience.

Only NZ clubs to get over 10k crowds this round showing why the ALM is dead in Aus. As always no one ever shows up to the last game of the season in Australia the gen public tend to give it a miss. With the AFL and NRL on the way it’s gonna be a dire finals football.
