Yes I did. That's a story I heard. I'm a member of the social club at Fraser. I was the head coach there as well.. last time they won the league.

Good on Sydney Portugal club for doing what they’ve done with it, but would have been perfect for Olympic if they could have built up a little boutique stadium there. Very close to a major railway station too. I think I’ve said this previously and I know it’s an odd comparison, but the location very much reminds me of Millwall/The Den if anyone’s ever been there. Semi industrial inner city location surrounded by rail yards on all sides, even the railway underpass you have to go under to get to the ground is very much reminiscent.

i still havent had a chance to visit that new ground, don't think we've ever played Fraser Park.

I hope they make it all the way and qualify for the round of 32 of the Aus Cup.

We need our strongest sides representing nsw

Though a lot of Npl 1 matchups will be interesting how the next round turns out

Hopefully no Sydney United or Apia if Rockdale is qualify

There is/was a big Portuguese community in the inner west. Hence why we have 3 social clubs (Sydney Portugal, Madeira and Benfica Club) in Marrickville and Petersham is known as Little Portugal.
