Makes it much easier now for Australia Cup semi final match schedule from Football Australia with Lions FC progressing tonight confirms all member federation tie will be taking place midweek of September 8/9 due to the NPL Queensland decider on Saturday September 12th at Spencer Park and NPL Victoria decider on Saturday September 19th at Lakeside Stadium.

They’re at home, premiers of qld, beat 2 a league clubs to get to this point. They would have gone in favourites, the lack of fight north sunshine put up in the end maybe a bit disappointing considering which teams they knocked out along the way

Credit to the Lions, they play a great brand of football and deserved their win if anything they could have had more but their level of football was very good which would have been hard to stop in any case.

yes it is winner of Preston Lions/South Melbourne who hosts semi final at BT Connor Reserve or Lakeside Stadium.
