Because they have the finals coming up does this mean both Bergers and Avondale will be resting some players for the big NPL match?

Well not quite that sort of a monstrosity, nor the same sort of structure and you know it (despite playing dumb). Avondale started as a club that formed in the 80s named ICKA which never really took, but was supported by small Italian community as part of the there social club...... Avondale is a comet club that developed from there although little remains in connection with the original club.
 
Another thing the semis is this weekend but the final is 4th October seems like it's a to far away?

So basically in Australia there are only like a handful of "real clubs"

They may be lucky with the rain, but its gonna be overcast and drizzly all week.... If the game goes into ET and penalties the ref and linos will have to hold candles....

No mate when HBW says "they will go back down to nowhere" he means the club will be relegated down the divisions when the sponsorship money dries up... its NOT a franchise that quite simply ceases to exisit once things get tough...

I just find it funny you guys give me shit going for an a league team then when I go to a npl ground you give it to me as well 😛

Have stated on here previously, I personally have no problem with a league clubs or people supporting them, I get why people support teams like Sydney fc or Melbourne victory …city on the other hand, i don’t know why anyone would give them their business. Imo on countless occasions they’ve shown they have zero regard for their own fan base let alone Australian soccer.

Yeah so I was there when they were heart then early city days we had a lot of fun it all went downhill when Bruno left. But we enjoy going we have memories of past games all the same reasons you support your teams it's for the lads on the pitch not the suits

Nahh mate power to ya....wont stop taking the mick, but in your case especailly there is nothing too much to argue against for the most part.. we agree on the suits, agree on second tier i reckon also, and at your rate you will live an NPL game and get hooked then it will be 'heart/city who?'

Only issue is you decided even now to go for the wrong outfit, no one in their right mind chooses Avondale! 🤣

I guess any transition from plastic (city) to fantastic (SMFC) requires a middle stop! We both know you will end up at SMFC though, everyone does! 😛
