Onyinyechi Zogg returns to the Perth Glory squad for their road game against Brisbane Roar on Friday after serving her suspension for a straight red card, whilst every A-League Women club except Perth Glory and Wellington Phoenix will be without at least one player due to them heading to Thailand with the Young Matildas for the under-20 Women's Asian Cup, from which notable outs include Peta Trimis, Skye Halmarick, Talia Younis, Daisy Brown and Tegan Bertolissio, to name a few. Melbourne City have the bye this week, but are still in action in the AFC Women's Champions League quarterfinals, playing against PFC Nasaf on Sunday at Home of the Matildas, and will farewell their Young Matildas contingent of Alexia Apostolakis, Danella Butrus and Shelby McMahon at the conclusion of that match when they depart for Thailand along with the rest of the playing list.
