I think the best outcome would be that FA to start up regions pathway allows a team like Yoogali as well as other teams like a Darwin Olympic to set up into the championship where there's no clear NPL to qualify from

Move the "The Championship" group stage to start of August and end in the 2nd last weekend of September so that it can double up as "A-league Qualification" group stage with the top team in each group directly joining the A-league season 2 weeks later

I think the championship is probably the best way to go with foundation clubs and 8 qualification clubs but just do 2x8 groups a 14 weeks+ finals season in alignment with A-league
