Spot on! Dont think its on Menelaou though! Didnt help we ran out of legs in the mid and attack end and couldnt press any more, then all the pressure fell on the middle and the defence sat back thinking they could hold the scoreline.

I just hope for no injuries next week against Avondale, we all want to make a cup final but we have to be realistic about our chances without Nagamatsu leading the line. We have to be at our absolute strongest against Altona and win. So frustrating we didnt put this to bed last night.
 
Was watching the game on YouTube, did anyone even turn up? Looked like there was barely 100 people there and that's not a knock on dandy city or south melbourne, just disappointing because I actually really love that ground, probably my favourite ground because of how close you are to the action.

Rebelliousfeminist974 is a bit of the opposite of you Mono. Happy to follow a club in every competition and often has a couple of favourites within competitions.

Basically a follower of any team that he/she likes the look of or has an affinity with.

As you have also said....
If we beat Altona and Gully we are more than comfortable.... and then, if by any miracle, we pull off some major upset with any of the top 3 its a bonus.

Cup football now shouldnt be our focus at all.. I had the hope with 3 point last night, that we could afford to risk playing players in those games, now it would be too high a risk to take!

I dontnknow if another round AU cup and a draw against a big a league club that smashes us would be beneficial even if i take the monetary into consideration.

Even a Dockerty final is a huge stretch with our squad.
 
At least Ren cant get injured next week. If results tomorrow are favourable we are as good as safe. If one of Port or Knights win then full focus has to be on Altona. Win that and we can fully commit to the South Hobart game, we dont wanna be chasing results against the big guns. Worried about conceeding heavily in the semi, dont need the teams confidence shattered further.

Results went our way this weekend..
Can officially call curtains on the knights!

For us we go all in to get the points vs Altona and dependent on a couple other results we may be able to be done with any relegation pressures!
 
You we're never really at worry of relagation, just unfortunate knights and port melbourne are having a catastrophic year.

TRying to get a contingent together but two of my regular crew are in Europe and my other mate is umming and awwing .... I might just bight the bullet and head down for the day myself but its not looking likely sadly.
