A-League Women fixtures for opening day will be released from 8am AEST on Thursday via the A-Leagues app, with the full fixture for Dub season 2026-27 to be released on Friday morning.

Appointing a head coach with zero coaching experience at professional level and hasn’t been an NPL head coach in 5 years is a terrible idea.

There would have to be so many more qualified options out there.

Edit: And apparently when he was a head coach, he won 1 out of 20 games

Apparently the Head Coach role at Bulls just acts as a puppet though.

The full A-League Women fixture list has been released ahead of Dub season 2026-27 getting underway, with Newcastle Jets and Western Sydney Wanderers hosting Perth Glory and Melbourne Victory respectively on Saturday, October 17th in the first two matches of the season, with both matches having simultaneous kickoffs at 3pm AEDT.

Sydney FC vs Melbourne City will be a double-header which is exciting!

Weird that they didn't highlight that though, given it's traditionally one of the biggest fixtures on the calendar. It's probably even bigger than the Sydney Derby (since Wanderers have pretty much never been good).

Can only speak for Brisbane. They stay out taking photos/signing stuff for 20 minutes after the game is done.

If they have won they will go do a brisbane chant with the den then start walking around while a timer is up on the big screen. If not they will just go down and start doing it after handshakes and interviews etc.
