As for the thumbnail: well, obviously. The AFL and the NRL are already huge and as a global product there’s little major interest outside Oceania (and perhaps Ireland for AFL). The A-League only has about 3.7 million true fans in Australia and if you’re looking at a global market, sure the potential is limited but at least it’s a global sport.

Honestly A-League is already there, they just don't get paid for it

Of all the things, this would probably bug me the least. They kinda already have it in many leagues around the world when required. I assume the A-League would just make it a blanket rule for every match across the season, instead of just the wet-bulb times.

Yeah would make sense to stop a match in the middle of a half to offer a hydration break when it is bucketing down in Sydney.... lol

Ahh but that's the thing, it's actually a worse when it's wet because your sweat can't evaporate and cool you down. That's the idea behind the wet-bulb, it's not just about temperature.
