NPL Tasmania finals series week 1 results:
Devonport Strikers 2 Kingborough Lions 1
Launceston City 1 Clarence Zebras 1* – Launceston City advance 5-3 on penalties.

*After Extra Time.

Week 2 finals schedule,
South Hobart v Devonport Strikers at Darcy Street
Kingborough Lions v Launceston City at Lightwood Park
 
NPL South Australia Final Day results – Saturday August 15th 7.30pm (7.00pm Adelaide):
FK Beograd 0 Adelaide City 3*
North Eastern MetroStars 2 Croydon Kings 0
Para Hills Knights 2 Adelaide Comets 5
Sturt Lions 1 Campbelltown City 3
West Adelaide 1 Playford City Patriots 2
West Torrens Birkalla 2 Adelaide United 1

*Adelaide City are NPL South Australia premiers and qualify for Australian Championship.

Finals series week 1 schedule,

Playford City Patriots v FK Beograd at Ramsay Park

NOTE: Adelaide City and West Torrens Birkalla have next week off.

You sure? Knights were now 8 points clear of Juve and Northcote who play each other next week so one or both are dropping points

After a tough week, we'll take the scrappy win. Mason wells has been immense.

Both cimenti and krslovic went off injured and rose is out for 1 more week.

Will be a tough battle against APIA, nothing but a win will hand APIA the premiership.
 
Canberra Cro still need a point next week but are home to cellar dwellers Belconnen United so a draw will do…
Edit: Not sure if head to head is the first tiebreaker though?

And completely opening up the pyramid which wasn’t the case when “npl” first started and still isn’t really the case in other states. Granted vic being smaller the other mainland states probably helped with the logistics of it.

Said it once and will say to again, so many great little clubs trapped in the lower leagues of nsw, often times ones with more substance and character and more ability to generate interest/crowds than the ones in npl 1
