You're my WonderwallI personally believe the World Cup needs England to win it.
We’re in an era where club football is increasingly taking precedence over international football. England, as the biggest football market and home to the world’s most lucrative domestic league, is uniquely placed to give the international game a much-needed shot in the arm. An England triumph would reignite national pride and remind fans why the World Cup matters. Just as importantly, rival fans would spend the next four years desperate to knock them off their perch, making the build-up to the next tournament even more compelling. I just wish the World Cup was still 32 teams.
And yet they want to expand the Club World Cup. FIFPRO must be pretty toothless:The fact that England hasn't hosted a world cup since 1966 is a joke. It's been awarded corruptly for over 2 decades.
It's correct that the number of club games is taking a toll on players and it's exhausting.
It will be interesting to see if the rugby scrums in the penalty box in European club football at corners and free kicks will be clampeed down on in the coming season. This World Cup has shown it's possible to police it to a fair degree. Have to assume this was a FIFA directive? Hopefully UEFA can follow suitThe Haaland foul was so blatant. Two hands on a set play. If the ref sees less they always blow a foul.
As infangulo stated, "If you do not have something to hide, you don't hide your mouth when you say something. That's it, as simple as that."Apparently the rule is for clear argumentative or abusive looking speech. Did it appear that way?
It was a dive worthy of the great dive artist Klinsmann. Blatant and undeniable. Feel sorry for Embola - he was being fouled all day and maybe thought this is the only way I can get justice. But simulation is a yellow card offence and should always be enforced when the evidence is clear. No way that's a second yellow card, how many times we see fouls not given for a dive and its play on.
Argies no diff in Qatar Zim.Switzerland were winning that game until the brain fade from Embolo
I don't think Argentina have the quality to win. France and Spain are far better teams.
Still waiting on the other angle btw on that Macallister challenge.
Only because they have the street smarts to disguise a diveExcellent to see Embolo sent off for simulation. Wouldn't happen to Argentina though.
Hits a cable, ball sensor had no spike. Hits a players strand of hair (croatia disallowed goal vs Portugal) the ball spiked.Nothing when it’s England apparently. Surely those blowing up about the Egypt game will be just as filthy about this
Has the sensor data been released? It but the Croatian's head, simple as that.Hits a cable, ball sensor had no spike. Hits a players strand of hair (croatia disallowed goal vs Portugal) the ball spiked.
I guess the ball only spikes when fifa tells it too.
Who can take these cunts seriously.
No it didnt.Has the sensor data been released? It but the Croatian's head, simple as that.
The Argentina thugs going after middle and upper class English fans who can actually afford the tournament? Both sets of fans aren't the typical type.No it didnt.
Go to specsavers.
Do you feel with your eyes? The ball clearly nicked the head and the sensor picked it up too.No it didnt.
