The Messi tackle had intent, and that should have been a red. But he is protected species.
 
The USA are going to have a chip on their shoulder when they play against Belgium, not only from the 2014 defeat but more the red card to Balagun which has been their best player for them.

Can they appeal the red card? Once again VAR with the attention.
 
Terrible decision based on whats been let go throughout the tournament. Clearly no intent he isnt even looking at the player, pure accident that looks horrible on slow mo.

Balogun suspended makss Belgium favourites for next round imo, he was in sensational form huge threat.
 
Went to bed and then saw it was 2:2. What drama at the last.
 
While accidentally Balogun, you're asking for trouble by going in wildly like that and I think so players risk it with a half open boot to nude the opponent away.
