The same SBS that for the last 4 decades has been showing international football tournaments like the FIFA World Cup when no other fucken media company would even acknowledge that football even exists.....

In fairness, Channel 9 held partial rights to the World Cup back in 2002.

And according to this it sounds like they're going to be putting in to do the next one too.

For all of SBS's posturing they haven't cared about football for years.

The one time they had the A-League rights they shunted it off to its Viceland channel which wasn't even in HD at the time.
