I don’t think saying LGBTQI people should be allowed to exist without persecution is “woke BS”. Generally I do agree that politics and celebrities should remain separate but I don’t see that as being political, rather just standing up for basic human rights which Qatari citizens lack.

He's said his piece and it's all faded off and that's where it can all stay.

Popovic was also asked about concerns with entry and he said they'd already been there for two windows so it's bit even a discussion point.
 
Guardian Football Weekly at 26 minutes in they discuss Group D. The whole 40 mins is great viewing if you like intelligent football commentary that doesn't ignore the political realities of the Biggest Show in Town being held in the capital of capitalism (eg dyfuckingnamic pricing). FIFA really is like an octopus with tentacles squeezing money out of fans, host cities, local governments, transport to games etc.
