Nah Poms are ok with it. They even have Soccer Saturday. Speaking of ā€œPlasticsā€, South are moving in a plastic direction with the OFC thing and being a ā€œFoundation Clubā€ in the Championship rather than winning the league and getting in on merit no? Thatā€™s the true spirit of promotion and relegation.

Awesome, I didnt realise the Poms where so cool... so Soccer it is then, problem solved.

As for the rent free tenant in your otherwise xenophobic little head, no worries turbo, keep spinning them lame arse wheels of yours... Bit hard to criticise a club for NOT winning the Championship when that is in fact what we did... but ok, if you are happy in your vague littel hatefull world.. have fun, say hi to the rest of Malaka Straits for me.

This is a forum for conversation, ideas, and debate.
So why does an intelligent man (no sarcasm at all there), have to resort to name calling and insults?

Ohh i dont know, maybe bc despite the history of proof, the logical explanations, you continue with your underhandedly bigoted delusional attacks on repeat???

Problem again, is that for someone with zero interest beyond bagging this end you spend a hell of a lot of time here either as an AL apologist, posting unecessarily on the SMFC forum or trying to convince us your mate Flogari is in it for the 'good of the game'... all the while playing stupid thinking it covers you! Rest assured it doesnt though!

More time on AL at reddit id suggest,) again, its more your style over there as we have said before!

try as you might to convince us of 'some noble sincerity' for the sake of debate (i still call BS but ok)... you sure as hell cant shy from neither the comments you have made (no matter how you veil them) especially when the message you re trying to portray remains underhanded and you know it.

Cant convince otherwise champ.

When the sport was introduced in this country it was called ā€œ footballā€, the termā€ soccer ā€œ had not been coined at that stage. The country of your heritage, also call it football. Strange that you donā€™t.

No they donā€™t. I know of no one of UK birth who call it ā€œ soccer ā€œ

Yeah I really don't care anymore. "Soccer" is just easier here, and "football" either seems forced or people laugh at it. I've always had to flip flop depending on who I'm talking to, and I just can't be arsed anymore. I going full time "soccer" now šŸ˜…

I think the push for "football" was because "soccer" was a dirty word 20 years ago, and the suits thought "football" would lend us more respect. And maybe it did serve its purpose, but I don't think it matters anymore. Our sport has grown and moved on in a few areas since then.

"Ļ€ĪæĪ“ĪæĻƒĻ†Ī±Ī¹ĻĪæ" in Greek, English words are only used to fleece the tourists :)

When I was born it was soccer in Australia... I dont get the angst, but happy to piss off the plastics. :)
