Why can't you answer a hypothetical? It's not a real scenario, it's made up. Do you think it's OK to slaughter 40 thousand (or in Palestine's case 60 thousand) people because of a terrorist act?

Of course that scenario shouldn't be illegal but you sound like the sort who'd run off to Fair Work to cry when you get sacked for it.

Yeah I'm not 100% sure that even horrible stuff like that should be outlawed. I realise you could flip that and say death to muslims, kill all muslims and the rest of it and would I be happy?

I've already stuck up, more than once, for the neo-Nazis that were protesting at the Australia first rallies and on the steps of parliament.

I mean at those Australia First rallies a lot of unsavoury shit was said but I'm not saying they should be stopped from doing it.

You can't pre-emptively ban marches and protests based on what somebody MIGHT say or chant.

We have to be careful here.

Of course hate speech should be banned. As far as I am aware it already is.

The Opera House stuff went way beyond the pale of protest and you know it.

As soon that River to the Sea rubbish and the Death to the Jews and Gas the Jews was uttered it should've been shut down and the people chanting that stuff arrested for hate speech and thrown in His Majesty's Pleasure.
