United only spend $350k a year on wages lol.

So stop spreading false information

Maybe unpopular opinion but imo I don’t really think anything Alexander did in isolation warrants a points deduction or massive fine and to suggest so would be whataboutism or because you just don’t like them. I think we can agree what Preston fabs did warrants punishment, throwing pyro at players with intent/force. Whether the team should lose points as a method of punishment is a matter of opinion, I personally probably think not, blame and punish the individual imo
I dont disagree we deserved some type of punishment.

Its more the lack of consitency from FV and their findings over the last few years.

You cant boast about an incredible NPL Final atmosphere etc and then decide to punish the clubs for said atmosphere.

No one was hurt, Game went on fine and it was a great specticale heading as a season finale.

Yeah i agree, fines wouldve been the most warranted imo also in this latest one and both on report if there is a future incident. Final was very seperate incidents and verasity to the preston game! Id have had no issue for Preston fans having the flares and lighting them but when they aimed them at opposition its a different ball game!

Fuck you seem to know more about other clubs, then your own.

Your so far off the mark, its laughable.

TALKING about syd united its a asbetos time bomb

When will you fix that ground of yours
The Asbestos has been taken care of over 2 years ago. And that was a king tom issue as its on their land.

We sold a few pokie machines to Sydney Olympic to cover the bill 👍

Interesting.... do they have what it takes to put in a challenge and take the spot for next years championship you think?
Good on em if they do, one of the rare examples of a club in this country pre dating the post ww2 migration boom. Coming up on 100 years old I believe. Moreland city is another off the top of my head, Adamstown rosebud in Newcastle too

Do they have much of a supporter base?
From what I’ve seen, not massive but probably more so than the average suburban club, there’s potential for growth. They have a nice little ground too. They seem to be increasingly trying to align their branding with Cronulla sharks nrl team. It’s known for being quite a parochial part of Sydney. Maybe the closest equivalent in Melbourne would be a Frankston or something, a beachside hub at the end of the line on the southern urban fringe, fairly Anglo area with a working class history but increasingly becoming more desirable. But a lot of local pride. An extreme example of this would be the Cronulla riots, something which I doubt would happen today given the gentrification that’s occurred. It’s always been a part of Sydney where soccer has had a lot of participants at a junior level

When I was there last season, the Seymour Shaw was pumping (and they finished about 3rd last). Greg O'Rouke is the president. They've hired some great people on and off the field. Off the field, they are getting things right - just look at the socials and the 3-year plan they put out. On the field, they just signed David Perkovic as Head Coach (he won the league with NWS Spirit) and they've recruited a competitive squad.

Interesting. Any idea of Seymour Shaw’s stadium capacity after the new stand was completed? Registered football player numbers in the Sutherland Shire are in the top 5 or top 3 in Australia so if they can get some of them following the club, and align themselves with the NRL Sharks they could be massive.

Apparently capacity is 5k, the grand stand itself is 1k. I think the above is their plan. Only thing is though, Sydney fc are well supported around there from what I can tell, and as I say they’re an almost 100 year old club who have always just been seen as a strong suburban club, never really challenged to get to the highest level nationally or claimed to be anything other than that etc so it would require changing the way people have always seen the club
