there is only 2 weeks left of the championship, i dont believe the numbers have effected the AL in any way, shape or form.

They were never going to however there may have been Aleague fans who may have commenced supporting Championship teams as well.

A large chunk of Heidelberg fans skew older and will probably just get tickets at the gate. That said its pretty clear we will heavily outnumber them. I think we will struggle to sell out the corner bays on the right as well.

Making it a ticketed event and having a complete segregation of the crowd is ridiculous.

That far right bay is terrible viewing, but there is always a lone person sitting up there... looks like they have bought their traditional ticket, I hope the space around him isn't sold, the bloke keeps to himself... go well whoever you are...

Before the championship kicked off, one of the biggest talking points was ensuring the matches didn't clash with A-League KO times.

that's why we saw group games at 1pm on Saturdays etc.

incidentally SBS had a big say over the kickoff times too

It's important that the Marconi lunchtime game gives people enough time to get to the Wanderers game at Parramatta later that night. 5 hours after the Marconi game finishes.

Not to worry, I heard the fa is considering the idea of playing the final in the lucrative 3am time slot…seems to have worked well for the national team at world cups in the past, so no excuses for not turning up in numbers. Also as with the 9am kick off you’ve got to whole day free after the game and there’s the added bonus that maybe this way @Monoethnic Social Club will be able to make the game and his daughters dance recital after all
