Even if I die, Sunderland, 'Treasure Valley'! The 94th-minute equalize
It's meSunderland, a promotion team well known as theen.sportschosun.com
Ben riding the wave
Some pundits !It's amazing to think that we'll be relegated next month according to last year's "experts".
I don't see where the offense was. He wasn't blocking the keeper's movement, he wasn't in his line of sight, the only movement he made was to avoid interfering with play - the keeper dived, he just couldn't reach it. The law says the player must make a move to play the ball - he did everything but.Controversy with Liverpool scoring but Robertson ducking but not blocking site or impeding with keeper. What exactly is the law?
It seems to me the position is offside and the duck is enough activity to say it's 'foul' play. Hate the rule and it needs changing.
If it were down the other end, Liverpool would point immediately and shout offside. I think it's the right call.
That was my read on it too... baffling call.I don't see where the offense was. Well the platform to date for Boro is promising thats for sure.
Good on Preston so far so good.
My Derby friends are happier for now.
Cheez the Saints are spinning down.
Canaries - to think not long ago were in EPL will be fighting relo by the looks of it.
F u l - Howe surely must be looking behind his back by now - they host City next.
its the softness of the games rulings today. That was my read on it too... baffling call.
Its quite puzzling how his Hoops tenure came to end just of late.Brendan Rodgers would be a good fit at Newcastle. He is used to a club being a football mad city like Liverpool and Glasgow and with all the press focus and he's a better coach than Howe IMO.
His troubles at Celtic are more reltaed the general weakness of rhe league...
With the money that's behind them, I think the next manager at Newcastle will have won leagues bigger than Scotland. I suspect they have tried the British thing and will go overseas next time out.Its quite puzzling how his Hoops tenure came to end just of late.
Well never know what the real storeys and sides who's right or not but I agree he has the nouse doing the job.
Putting aside his previous Hoops success he seems to go well for a period then things seem to go backwards.
ie the LFC/Fox's and now Hoops tenure's.
Kind of lacks consistancy - is it backroom management disagreements/missing out on player signings at crictical times ? his management style still suits todays game.
Stevie G back in the day quoted he was a top man on man manager and I have no doubt of that.
He sure would be a good signing by the Toon.

As for why it fell apart at Celtic - some manager's lose the changing room, Rodger's lost the board - claimed it was never his fault, and indicated he was never backed... Very similar to the way he behaved at Leicester... He's got a rep for being somewhat arrogant (this is a man who has a portrait of himself on his living room wall).
