Olympic is the biggest dissapointment of them all, they should be rivalling South and Preston but have fallen off a cliff. You can go back to those nsl averages and see they were usually the biggest after South as far as the traditional clubs go.

I still think they’re capable. Don’t write them off. Look at Preston’s crowds 10 years ago. More just needs to be done, a change of fortunes, a change of mood around the club etc. the ingredients are all still there, I’ve seen it with my own eyes. If they were the ones hosting that round 1 match v south, it wouldn’t have been as big as 6k but they’d have also pulled a good crowd imo.

It was only around 10 years ago that Syd Olympic v Syd united pulled 10k. That interest doesn’t evaporate over night, it just needs to be properly harnessed

All i know is should if it comes to fruition we would be taking over 'the Palace!' by sheer numbers, that awesome looking restaurant will be serving Gyros and loukoumades, and a statue of Zeus will replace the ball that is currently in place at entry!
