With new posters who may use different user names than 442, we don’t know how they heard about G and G?

Given the Podcasts, the Fan View (I’m going to be PMing a few posters urging them to write), Tipping, Aussies Abroad, specific NPL threads,the Golden Boot thread, active admin, G and G simply has to keep growing.

If we look back at IS it was dying.

Yeah glad he is back and hope he gets it back. Hoping there are lot of dormant fans out there that can be brought back if we get a proper h and nst

Good suggestion, Muz.

P doesn't want my cash donation - face to face or donated to a third party. I don't want to give out my bank details. The Missus won't like me giving cash to a football forum! Cash has no trail.
 
I have a feeling we have Fan View forum thread somewhere, but I can't find it.

If you submit an article, I usually have a look through it, do some editing if needs be and make sure it's published. Back at work this term, so some days a bit more run off my feet than others. Be rest assured, I will get to them and make sure your work is published.

I was looking for it too.

Football Us Life and NCB have written some new, welcome articles.
 
Just reflecting this forum is probably the best I've been on.

At its peak, when Kevin Airs, site owner was active in a daily basis, 442 was great when we had Socceroos like Ljubo M doing Q and A. There was also a lot of recruitment through articles. Enormous traffic.

Why is G and G so good?

* Podcasts

* Fan View articles

* Tipping

* Aussies Abroad

* Underage tournaments

* Goalscorers thread

* Active women's football section

* NPL - much more active than 442.

* General football section- more scope for general football topics

* Cricket section - Richie and I met on another forum, where we were a bit sick of some tedious posters. More traffic generated on here now, devoid of those tedious posters!

* Off topic - seems to be broader discussion threads that are more active. I don't participate much on the politics threads, because I'm heavily involved in political activism off forum and I always have jobs to do and follow up! The politics thread reminds me of liaison work that I should be doing!

* Active site owner and for mine, very proactive moderation in minimising the effect of forum destabilisers and trolls. IMO they weren't dealt with effectively enough, and were tolerated for too long on 442/IS.
Plus a few 442 posters who were banned there, have been kept on here, and have made plenty of worthwhile input on G and G. If 3 people in particular are reading this, they must appreciate G and G. I was quite astonished they were banned for lengthy periods on 442?
