a silver lining to the loss!
Nigeria are crazy good at youth level
Yes, the squad was downsized from a preliminary 23-player squad to the final 21-player squad so only two players were omitted at the conclusion of the pre-tournament training camp. The squad was downsized wasn't it? FA article raves on about past players but can't even say who was omitted.
Bit ridiculous given how quickly injuries, suspension and fitness can take a toll on a squad. Other tournaments allow 26. Not to mention the tournament presence can spur a player on.Yes, the squad was downsized from a preliminary 23-player squad to the final 21-player squad so only two players were omitted at the conclusion of the pre-tournament training camp.
have we beaten nigeria at youth levelDidn't we beat them once and a troll on the old forum totally shut up?
Imagine Irankunda in that squad but I suppose he'll be in the North American squad (and Watford wouldn't have let him go in any case).Bit annoyed we aren't taking our best eligible but a handy enough squad. Really keen to see how they go.

we beat them in the 2019 u17 world cup. tristan hammond and caleb watts were tremendous in that gamehave we beaten nigeria at youth level
still traumitized by their u17s beating us 7-0!
I do remember that people really took out their frustrations with the national curriculum on these kids and seemed to almost enjoy negative results
That's right. A remember a certain troll on the old thread suddenly disappearing.we beat them in the 2019 u17 world cup. tristan hammond and caleb watts were tremendous in that game
So I guess you'll be betting $1000 against Australia each game?Nigeria played almost a full line up of there bench players against the Aus U20. Just goes to show the massive gap we have to the rest of the world. We will be lucky to even get a draw out of the 3 group games. Irankunda overlooking the U20 WC is a massive loss for us.
No i wont be betting anything fk that, cost of living is more depressing then wots coming up for the U20. Do you honestly believe we will get out of the group? A win and a draw would do it but i cant see us getting nether. Cuba would be our best bet for a win if we park the bus and go on the counter. So I guess you'll be betting $1000 against Australia each game?
thats pretty remarkablewe beat them in the 2019 u17 world cup. tristan hammond and caleb watts were tremendous in that game
Youth football teams don't necessarily match their senior teams. It'll be a challenge but we've got a cohesive squad and a good coach. Who knows what Cuba might do to the other teams? No i wont be betting anything fk that, cost of living is more depressing then wots coming up for the U20. Yeah there is a correlation with senior success, but a loose oneYouth football teams don't necessarily match their senior teams. It'll be a challenge but we've got a cohesive squad and a good coach. Who knows what Cuba might do to the other teams?
