Leichardt works start end of '26 season for accuracy completion ready for start '28 season.

It was on the news last night, that Campbelltown has been given nothing. Mimms confirmed it by saying that have only committed to Leichhardt. Tigers went off too early.

For APIA absolutely been using Leichhardt for years have no care of the other ground or franchise.
What happened to the Apia Leichhardt clubhouse right down the front of the harbourside, would been worth millions.
Did the Italians make money out of it & put in back into the game?
Gotta love these 'ethnic' clubs & the love of football they have in this country, no agendas like the franchises.

Gawd salty for all the flak, your league deserve it robbos.
So we’re going back near 30yrs omg.
Move on man

hey mate I've moved on, used to watch Apia play back in the day, but those Italians as bad as the Portuguese when it comes to corruption, but I get told these ethnic clubs gave back to Soccer, unlike my A-League franchises.

That wasn't a club house. That was the APIA club itself which was a venue for the italian community to meet, dance and drink. They left that decades and decades ago and it's now a Italian wedding reception venue and has been for a very long time.

The suits have stolen more money out of Australian football than the "ethnics" ( charmingly racist term ) ever did.

Ez filled you about the ok Apia club.
Yep shonks ruined it back in the day just as white collar anglos you name it - honchos dipping in the coffers, for years now a very successful reception function venue been there a number of times past to present.
Despite the past that club did sponser and support local football as have all these clubs for decades after decades that filters down to their youth and local district despite the % of crooks.
Your Al franchises don’t enhance the local game whatsoever but pillage it for peanuts.
That’s what they do And they don’t want any outside local club amongst them unless they pay an over inflated fee worth bugger all long term.
That’s what they take more than give.
You say agendas have been our worst cancer that’s right - your with the worst one today.
I’m sorry that’s the way I see it.

Ahhhh no doubt, especially these recent guys, thankfully the name escapes me, the ex APL head honcho.
I am not defending the APL, they are awful, but I'm saying football administration in this country has been dreadful for 50 years now, but some like to only blame the new APL.

Townsend ?
The trouble is the now - and the recent years, this is whats relative - the past is done dusted and fail but no point we banging on about that.

LFC, how good is your team doing? Bloody hell I'm coping heaps about Liverpool.

OK I'll play, the APL is doing a shit job.

haha though they are a work in progress the way I see it, the dog in the fight has always been there (VVD is brilliant directing his fellow defence) but I'm looking forward in time these new gems and regulars get to know each other more and more.

WE both agree there - I can't see bringing up the failed past adds to anything that is all no game to play there.

I'm not bringing up the past, I'm saying we have failed in the last 50 years that I have followed this game, nothing has changed.

The only thing that has changed is that as Sutherlandbear has brought up has been that some clubs notably Sth Melb are no longer in the top tier of football & those fans are not happy.

Tell me what else has changed? Do we need change, hell yeah, do we need pro/reg yes again, do we need to be all under the same football banner united as one, again yes, do we need to stop with our agendas, yes.

The only thing I'm saying different to you is that you are blaming the current regime & I'm saying we have never had it.

That is the problem in this country, they all want to bury the past, whilst continually criticising the present, much like the Catholic church do.

You can't hide the past as it shapes the future.

hey, when you say fail the last 50yrs it reads the past and we agree nothing has changed.
Settled.
Sutho, obviously the past helps shape the/a future trouble is we're still in it :)
Current regime and the one prior have kept the game under their lock and key, yep keep on never having it and this is fresh recent right now.
Some clubs (notably SMH) - its the whole whammy - let alone just to start with a level 2 throw in a 3.
Championship is a start fingers crossed without the APL and forges onwards for the below, maybe then we might help producing more than just rounded solid professionals in the future but thats a dream at this point in time.

Hahaha.. Blame with the APL etc lays in the idea that you removed the problem only for the problem to be even greater under your watch.... yet still blame the previous bc its convenient to hide the very clear failures you told us tour sorted!
