What is the deal with Reddit and soccer? And a broader question … how do I access it? I see it invariably. But it looks like you need to register or something?
you have to get 5 karma to post. So you have to go to a no karma site for a while to get 5 more people to upvote you than down vote you

pizza crimes is my go to. Just say "wow that pizza is worse than the one I made this weekend" a few times and hope no jerk downvotes you

then when you got the karma you have to make sure you dont say something on a league reddit that takes your karma below five from downvotes haha

most people are pretty nice there, but unfortunately racial stereotypes come out a lot when people chat traditional clubs and p&r posts get downvoted a lot
also less info than this site and soccer twitter imo

They're fucked. I commented on a post something along the lines of whatever they're doing isn't working so why not give pro/rel a go and got a kajillion downvotes.

Instead of arguing the point they just downvote you.

I think I've posted there a total of 3 times.

Cocks.

And not forgetting that pasquali or someone got banned for saying 'hey we've got a forum happening over here'.

Then if u want to get back on the forum you have to spend a few hours on pizza crimes commenting on bad pizza to get your karma back up :D

Yeah they banned @MikeTuckerman and i believe tend to ban anything from the roar

I guess they see them as rival forums?

I got my work computer account perma banned because i had @Pasquali logged in in the same chrome browser and they assumed my account was a multi

Yeah mate, couldn't be arsed.

When I'm super bored I wander into there to see if there's an interesting story from somewhere that I didn't hear about elsewhere first. Like today I couldn't find Jordy Bos's goal and they had it there.

Didnt we have it in the osaussies thread? We tweeted it but maybe forgot to put it there

yep I ended up having my acc binned due to lack of use but first off got thumbs down due some comments that wasn't that bad.
karma points, like what akids show.
Maybe that was afetr Lupi was there at times hahaha
Yep stuff em agree with Muz.

I tended to post enough statsy non partisan stuff to have plenty of karma in the bank that i can handle the downvotes when i say something supportive of grassroots clubs (and to be fair some of those posts got upvoted)

But it got pretty nasty on their discord channel when they started claiming our forum was antivax, far right, racist, homophobic and all this random stuff so i just quietly left (search greenandgoldfc all one word on their discord to see some through the looking glass stuff)

To be fair, from the reddit thread on this site, plenty calling a league reddit racist. But thats usually based on their personal experience of copping racism there, so dont think its the same thing

Wonder what those tosser new dawners are saying about this recent article with Fozzie comments not that he counts much to me in the big picture.
He was sounding the alarm about lack of academies from the start
Wonder why it didnt cut through more (genuine question)

We really need a league academies and a nyl that is home and away to get the supply near what it was

No matter Graz
Fozzie been a lightweight in the position he could have been a lot more vocal about more and more.
We’ve been saying as such for years.
It’s not just about what your saying needed it’s also what we’re screaming about re top end of the picture for that resolved links to where the development all starts.
I know you get that.
Others protecting the top seem to not care as much but agree in saying they wish but it’s very light hearted as well.

still hard to this day to convince people we need a nyl, or that a league academies should go down to younger than u13

But is this affordable?
Some clubs are struggling to keep solvent.
complicated question and I'd need to be paid to answer it properly and calculate the expense vs the ROI properly, but I suspect yes because it would pay for itself in increased transfer fees

not the same as a nyl, need both as you learn different things in both leagues

also a nyl would run during the a league season so keep kids not getting game time fit
A lot of clubs in Europe are putting their youth teams into lower leagues to give them better exposure to playing against adults and old pro's.

Cashflow would be an issue and then if players don't work out the club would lose.
