Interesting to note Circati sat through 5 friendlies before finally being given the shabby NZ friendly for his debut.

Certainly going to be a better player than Triantis yet it's unfortunate we won't get to see them together. I'd really hoped for such a mix of surnames and always chuckle at Germans whose brains explode at our 11s with the diverse names. I've often got to remind them what my surname is.

Was he on the bench a bunch for the roos?
Main issue for triantis is his profile, okon is also tall technical and defensively strong 6 but we dont have a lot of players like that!

Looks like I've miscounted. Argentina, Mexico and England before playing against New Zealand.

Good attitude given he is the best of the dual nationals and was willing to wait his time
 
Triantis has not been picked in the Greece squad for the September qualifiers.

Two things, the paperwork may need a bit more time we've not heard it directly from himself. Only Dodd has reported. I trust it's true but it's still murky.

The Greece squad surprises me as the strikers are mid 20s but the rest are be generally at two ends of the age spectrum. The young players do excite. Also the recent call ups on the wiki if wafer thin whereas Australia's is much longer showing how much rotation we've had.

It's the last 12 months so we'll see Iredale and maybe Silvera disappear from it next window

Fifa Association Platform has the change registered which is pretty cemented, I think potentially he can only reverse the change if he doesn't make any apps and 3? years have passed upon vague recollection of the rules

You do wonder if his behavior with the Socceroo's situation impacted his club choices? How would clubs judge a players temperament who so easily quits when presented a challenge? Afterall, walking away from your nation after one bad squad camp really is weak as piss.

I'm confused by your "other Greece" reference. Apart from that, you are correct. He can, once only, apply to reverse his change of association provided he has never been fielded for Greece in any form of football. There is no time limit on this reversal - he could apply tomorrow if he wanted to!

Typo mate. Started with other nation. Ended up with Greece. Forgot to edit out 'other'.
