Australian Dual Nationals 🇦🇺🏳️

Guys.

This thread is for Australiam dual nationals guys like Triantis and Segecic are wholly relevant to the topic of the thread, and frankly i find it interesting to hear about their progress, even if they have selected other countries. I find it a 'what might have been' situation.

Anyway thats my 2 cents
They are no longer dual nationals in football terms. That makes them an off topic item on this thread.

Yeah nah I explained the context that I called them non Australian which is a football context they aren't. I don't care about them personally but obviously they are Australian.

You're interpreted what I've said incorrectly and I've explained myself. I'm quite anooyed not many people have backed me up as well
You were doing a good job of explaining your viewpoint. I knew what it was, but others have misinterpreted it and continue to misinterpret it. Perhaps they misinterpret it because they want to.

Fair play. I don't think the initial post read well, but you've explained your meaning and it should be taken at face value imo.

Dual national footballers...they really get us going hey?!? :ROFLMAO:

Many reasonable points, some not so much. I live somewhere in the middle where I think it's likely worse to have to put up with Popa as our Manager over seeing a few thunderbolts from Sega et al more often than we would like. So on that basis have at it.

If someone types the wrong word in a sentence but it's clear what they meant...maybe just keep it chill. It is about football after all.

I don't really appreciate the undertone that I'm being offensive or racist towards you. I never said anything against them as Australians as people but as far as football is concerned
Fair enough mate, I did get your meaning but to be fair you didn't make yourself clear in intial post.. Anyway, apologies If Ive upset you..

I meant as foreign players in our academies. Why should we help develop a foreigner who got rejected when there’s better academies on their side of the world?
Because if they are born here to Australian parents they are in fact Australian.. I know you think you understand how another human being feels about his/her ethnicity based on what you read on the internet but the reality is that each and every single Australian person has the right to chose who they ultimately are...

You cant bang on pretending to be some sort of champion of gay women's football, or however you want tor represent yourself, and fail to grasp that one simple basic reality... YOU CANNOT TELL ANYONE ELSE HOW AUSTRALIAN THEY ARE OR FEEL..

It's pretty ungrateful to come here and mooch of our system and then refuse to acknowledge you live here and are Australian. Imagine if I went to Spain and refused to learn any Spanish, refused to integrate with Spanish culture, refused to eat any Spanish food, refused to call myself Spanish, refused to have any Spanish friends and refused to care about Spain at all, despite mooching off the Spanish system, living and working in Spain (the country of the Spaniards), using services in Spain and benefitting from Spanish taxpayers. Yet that's exactly what happens.

Yet they identify as Australian first and gay separately, if at all. Unless you're just using a generic homophobic and sexist insult.

How on God's green earth do you know that? Did you take a poll?

BTW I wasnt trying to be homophobic or sexist (nice try) just questioning your moral ambiguity.

Any evidence to support your assumption that these boys:

1) mooch of the system
2) Don't acknowledge they lived in Australia
3) Don't speak English
4)Refused to integrate with Australian Culture (whatever it is that you think THAT is in a society made up of hundreds of differing cultures - not everyone wears thongs, drinks VB and beats their wife)
5)Don't eat Australian food (again see racist bullshit above)
6) refuse to care about Australia or disrespect it in anyway (apart from playing for underage Aussie teams that is)

Your so convinced you can know what is going in on these kids minds, why? Because you saw it on Instagram or some influencer told you so?
