Not to flog a dead horse, but please tell me, why do the fa etc not want this in the a league format aswell. Clearly old and new are coexisting just fine in the cup. What are they afraid of at this point, this comp is a true exemplification of Australian football. APIA v Melbourne victory ..good. Preston v South Melbourne ..good. Sydney fc v Melbourne victory semi..also good. I don’t get it what’s the point of denying the reality

The cup as it is in every other country in the world is a completely different beast to the league.
