Possibly one of the worst decisions in history. He may end up being one of our greatest ever exports but with a Croatian flag. Surely after securing Cristian Volpato we’ve woken up.

Just replace his pot shots from distance with headers

Really similar age breaking through in the championship, similar goal scoring rate at this age, both players can be low touch and go missing and have little other to the game than match winning. Both have an esoteric path to goal that is hard even for top defenders to stop. Both are feisty and hard working and a bit short (tho Sega is shorter)

Popovic is a short sighted bull headed fool. It was plain to see Segecic should have been capped. But instead he played games about earning the shirt, when Segecic had already done enough to earn it. This will hurt us.

I hate these highlights videos and the reminders of whats lost. It's the worst thing about the forum.

Maybe be a thread called 'traitor town' or something and it can all go there.

My heads dips whenever I see those names scoring.

That U20 Asian Cup with Triantis and Segecic gave me so much hope.

Perhaps posts about their performances should be in the Aussies Abroad thread. This thread is titled Australian Dual Nationals which I thought was to track how untied players with dual nationalities in football terms are going. Once a player is tied he no longer is a dual National in football terms, but those who choose other nations for football remain Australian nationals.

Guys why arent we talking about Markus Walker more?

19 yr old who just scored 2 goals in the Danish Superliga, in his first ever match at RM. Is nominally are CB but was used at RM this game, which is first time ever in his career. Has also played LB and RB.

Full name is Markus Walker Andersen, and plays for Denmarks under 19s.

Born in Australia to a Danish mother and English father, moved to live in Denmark before he turned one. I’d be quite surprised if in his heart he felt Australian.

Souttar, Karacic and Boyle arent exactly dinkie-di aussies, but especially in Souttars case we happenned to get in before Scotland did. Someone from the FFA just needs to try ..

It is a weak position for us if rwb or rb so him and bennie need to be priorities even if rb isn't their first choice of position

I was responding to the question of where his heart might be, but as we know the lure of international football, if the country of your heart ignores you, can be quite strong.
