For me it's Preston because of the anti greek chants, burning our flags, graffiti and trashing our toilets. I know its only a select few but yeah for me its them.

Also funny how the only ones saying south melbourne are south melbourne supporters. Apparently everyone hates them because were jealous

You and most other people who’ve attended npl games there I dare say, although parking there ain’t great either from what I’ve seen. Potentially more of a factor if it were to become a full time championship/nsd venue

Street parking in Belmore is decent. Mostly houses around there.

For all the praise that’s been heaped on Heidelberg in recent years from people who obviously haven’t followed the game at this level closely for very long..look at this game and note how Heidelberg really aren’t that different to Sydney Olympic off the field when you take away their opposing fortunes on the field in recent times…and that’s not a dig at Heidelberg per se, clearly a historic club with value, just to say..in the scheme of things, swings and roundabouts. Imho

Probably the key difference. Although until relatively recently Olympics relationship with belmore and the council was comparable to most other tenant relationships and not that dissimilar to Heidelberg at Olympic village prior to its refurb, albeit more appropriately sized. I’ve forgotten is Heidelberg a tenant of Olympic village or do they have a long term lease

Good result for the comp. That’s 9 ex nsl clubs to participate in this years edition off the top my head

South Melbourne with a good win away at Melbourne City Youth. Good first half and we should have had a bigger lead than just 2-0 at halftime. Took the foot off the pedal in the second half and let the kids back into it. In the end, it was a 3-0 away win. Coupled with Avondale’s loss, we are now equal third but fourth on goal difference. Need some luck to pinch third spot with two rounds left.
