Pia Vlok's primary position is in midfield though and Shelby McMahon can also play as a winger in addition to her primary position of central midfield so the A-League Women All Stars playing list would have one keeper, one defender and three midfielders with no dedicated strikers named as things stand, bearing in mind that new players will be named every day.
 
Makala Woods announced!!! She’s the first foreigner announced and the second in either of the inaugural two series (after Kayla Morrison).

Ten more players have been added to the A-League Women All Stars playing list after the announcement of Makala Woods and Claudia Bunge, with Chloe Lincoln, Grace Jale, Leticia McKenna, Aideen Keane, Angie Beard, Karly Roestbakken, Brooke Nunn, Mackenzie Hawkesby, Melina Ayres and Talia Younis all being named to the squad since then.

Strong list! The Auckland FC team is also being named. Hopefully some of the girls from that play in the All Stars game too, like how can Peta Trimis be excluded from this? She’s surely one of the best players in the league.

The expectation would be that Peta Trimis is going to be named in the A-League Women All Stars playing list in the coming days as part of further squad announcements.
 


Melbourne Victory women's captain Kayla Morrison has been named as the last player in the A-League Women All Stars squad, with the entire playing list now confirmed.

Adelaide United and Perth Glory also don't have any players named altogether and not sure why Peta Trimis didn't make the A-League Women All Stars playing list in addition to the Auckland FC invitational XI given the remarkable season 2025-26 she had.

Yeah that’s wild. I’m also surprised Mackenzie Hawkesby got the Sydney FC spot. I thought she really declined this season and I didn’t think she was better than some of the others. Heather Hinz, Hana Lowry and Tori Tumeth were all sold or let go so none of them could make it, but Willa Pearson should’ve. Even through Indi dos Santos in there even though she didn’t play at all last season and just came back, seeing as Tameka Yallop got a spot.

Tameka Yallop got game time for Brisbane Roar during the latter part of Dub season 2025-26 whereas Indiana Dos Santos didn't play altogether for the entirety of the season though.

I still think she had too little game time to be in TOTS discussions. All Stars isn’t TOTS so I can see the goalposts being moved but surely a fit IDS is one of the best players in the league.

Indiana Dos Santos is definitely one of the best wonderkids in the world and has already been in remarkable form for Bulls FC Academy in NPLW New South Wales since making her return to play from her ACL injury.
