If its a hyperextension we are good.
Giannis Antetokounmpo did this injury about 5x worse than Bos's looked in the game.
He missed the end of the Atlanta Hawks series and they won, then played through it in the next series and won the NBA Championship a few weeks later.
Has been playing since with absolutely no issues at all.
Really love Jordy, thats great news.

Do u need an operation for a hyperextension?
 
Knee injury + surgery + 4 month recovery timeframe is likely a medial ligament injury. It's probably the shortest recovery time for the possible knee ligament injuries he could have suffered. Recovery timeframes are usually 4-8 months so they're reporting the best case scenario and assuming no complications. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes longer.

Not necessarily. I think the ACL and PCL are next in line after you hyperextend and potentially destroy your oblieque popliteal ligament.
Probably just precautionary measure , mabye the joint capsule got damaged a bit and draining some fluid assists with quicker recovery.



Reckon this looked worse than Jordy's. But I think Giannis's OPL was already completely cut, which is why he said just one more of these hyperextensions would have ended his career.

The way Jordy collided with that player - partial PCL reconstruction or complex meniscal repair requires a strict 3-to-4-month healing timeline.

It feels like this is something very AA. We have players either injured or MIA with no information about what exactly is going on. I hate how clubs omit a player from a squad and there's no mention of what's up. I get there is a match on but the lack of clarity is very frustrating. Meanwhile you've got some clubs and the commentator and coach just say 'he's dealing with a family matter or he pulled up sore yesterday so we're resting him.'

They'll be working hard on rehab for 6 weeks but radio silence for that long is also annoying. We had it with Souttar.
