The Medical Room - Injury Updates

Both Leckie and Italiano departing camp is not good. 24 players left but one more than in older tournaments. Time to cement Bos at RWB. Devlin has to play with all that energy.

We're fine at RWB. Bos, Geria then even Metcalfe and Trewin. LWB slightly tight too if we play Bos at RWB.

Right back curse continues. Franjic out, Atkinson out and now Italiano.

Bos looked absolutely broken in his leg brace.

He landed very heavily on his knee, and didn't move. Seemed to me major damage as in falling his weight was projected down and the knee made unrestrained contact.
It looks bad. Particularly his reaction. I hope its just an MCL. Being in a brace you'd think its a ligament of some sort.

It's so crazy how fast it can happen, our best attacker really coming into his own and then suddenly he goes down injured, possible ACL, may miss the Champions League, Eredivisie season, his next big club move and the Asian Cup. Also, treatment for an ACL isn't linear, he may never fully recover to his best-self again.

Praying for a bone bruise or an MCL.

Per Feyenoord,

"**Medical update Jordan Bos**

Jordan Bos suffered a knee injury in the last World Cup match with his national team. Bos underwent surgery this morning, and the procedure went well. The expectation is that he will be unavailable for multiple months. We’re with you, Jordan! ❤️ Wishing you a speedy recovery."
