I'm quietly confident this years competition will be bigger and better for the reasons you've touched on. Sydney United being in a much better place, Rockdale/Sutherland, Adelaide City, Queensland Lions all possible inclusions in place of Spirit, MetroStars, and Moreton City. I can see some really well supported games and some rivalries either starting or re-igniting after a couple of decadesNsw qualification spot looking likely to be either Rockdale or Sutherland. Both would be fitting candidates imo. As I said in the npl thread as much as it was a credit to spirit for qualify on merit last time, will be good to see a more established club with better facilities and more support make it this time, both Rockdale and Sutherland fit that bill. The two clubs play each other in a few weeks time which could go a long way to deciding who takes the spot. Also as mentioned on the npl thread, Sutherland a rare example of a club in this country pre dating the post ww2 migration boom, Rockdale obviously affiliated with the Macedonian community
Can Football Australia just announce something already? I'm way to excited for it to wait any longer
