I feel sorry for Uruguay. I like Bielsa and I definitely have a soft spot for the country, having been involved in one of the 3 defining football games of my lifetime (the others being Iran in 1997 and Japan in 2006).

Bielsa unfortunately fumbled it. There was no need to play Muslera in this game. He is clearly past it and it was his ridiculous mistake that’s knocked them out. They would have gone through with a 0-0.
