Sign Up Now!Just need Spain to beat Uruguay then I think they can draw this and still come second.Today I am a cape Verde fan
Japan's matchup against Brazil in the round of 32 is locked in and they should be able to get the job done given that they've defeated them previously in recent times.Couple of tasty R32 match ups so far. Poor Japan, getting Brazil (assume that's locked in?). They have a good chance of beating them, but still rough for them.
Particularly when they play outside UEFA.I think some Europeans just refuse to accept that some non-European teams are better than some good European teams.
Didn’t see the Sweden v Japan game, but was disappointed Japan didn’t prevail after drawing with the Dutch.Japan's matchup against Brazil in the round of 32 is locked in and they should be able to get the job done given that they've defeated them previously in recent times.
Even though Japan only managed draws against Sweden and the Netherlands they're still unbeaten in their last five matches against European opposition and have managed to get the job done in their past two meetings with South American teams.Didn’t see the Sweden v Japan game, but was disappointed Japan didn’t prevail after drawing with the Dutch.
Agree with a lot of what you post, but I think our tactics are spot on. Sometimes the execution by players can be problematic though.Good point, but that’s more so down to our own tactical failures. Compare us with Turkey whose own captain said we were shit so they automatically would win. If our captain or coach openly said our opposition was shit so we’d automatically win then it would be the same. But that hasn’t really happened, we’re just managed poorly and do things the wrong way (and even then often still get results somehow).
Thanks for that!Even though Japan only managed draws against Sweden and the Netherlands they're still unbeaten in their last five matches against European opposition and have managed to get the job done in their past two meetings with South American teams.
