I never specifically mentioned my team in any capacity, but please tell me, why won't my club be participating?Dont worry champ you wont be participating!! Hahahah
Im sure an oakleigh/mv brain can work it out.... but here is a clue bc you wont finish above Hume or the bergers! HahahaI never specifically mentioned my team in any capacity, but please tell me, why won't my club be participating?
Oh okay so just your personal opinion. I thought maybe there was something in the rules or something blocking us from joining if we finished on top.Im sure an oakleigh/mv brain can work it out.... but here is a clue bc you wont finish above Hume or the bergers! Hahaha
kogarah if they draw an a league team i imagineSaw on the news that apparently Leichhardt oval is hosting its last nrl fixture before the refurb begins, if so I would assume that means it will be unavailable for use by APIA in the aus championship and aus cup for a period of time? I wonder if they’ll just play out of lambert park then?
Not really ideal imo, but what ya gonna do. Surely the fa allow lambert park as a home venue for the championship if Avondale’s ground is okkogarah if they draw an a league team i imagine
nothing to do with being allowed to use it, it's just horrible to use if they get more than 1,000 people to the gameNot really ideal imo, but what ya gonna do. Surely the fa allow lambert park as a home venue for the championship of Avondale’s ground is ok
That place is shit for football viewing, curvature grandstand design means terrible sight lines.kogarah if they draw an a league team i imagine
Location would also be a pretty major factor imo. Switching between lambert park and Leichhardt works because they’re basically down the road from each other and both very much within the clubs heartland. Kogarah less so.That place is shit for football viewing, curvature grandstand design means terrible sight lines.
I went past concord the other day, it actually looks really good now after the refurb, in terms of size it would be a great aus championship venue. The grand stand looks about the size of Marconi. Only problem is, like belmore with the bulldogs it’s covered in wests tigers nrl brandingKogarah is farked, never liked being there - its got no vibe and everything else that has been mentioned wrong about it.
Wish Concord could be used as back up but not likely.
yes the refurb has improved it heaps obviously.I went past concord the other day, it actually looks really good now after the refurb, in terms of size it would be a great aus championship venue. Why not Concord.I went past concord the other day, it actually looks really good now after the refurb, in terms of size it would be a great aus championship venue. Would make perfect sense. Why not Concord.
That HBG owns the "Wests" in both Tigers and APIA now. Plus they had a crossover recently where both APIA and Tigers players were in attendance.
It looks like a great size venue for Championship games and will look good on TV if they put the cameras opposite the grandstand. Anything over 2000 would make for a great atmosphere. Why not Concord.

it doesn't have lightsWhy not Concord.

Seriously? I don’t get councils sometimes. Could still use it during the day.it doesn't have lights
Football Australia probably mandate that matches in the Hahn Australia Cup competition proper and Australian Championship have evening kickoffs though.Seriously? I don’t get councils sometimes. Could still use it during the day.
I agree having lights should be a prerequisite but doesn’t Avondale’s ground not have them and was approved for use in the aus championship somehow. They played their games there last season and they had to be during the day which is easier in a summer comp with midday kick off times as the standard …Football Australia probably mandate that matches in the Hahn Australia Cup competition proper and Australian Championship have evening kickoffs though.
