Are you shitting me???

I'm just having abit of fun when I poke fun of south, nothing serious, but that is such a low blow. Disgusting.

Stuff this club, hope they get relegated.

I mean at least he got it directly. Katsakis had to find out from others when holidaying in Greece when Bergers knifed him lol.

None of these clubs have the balls to face people.
Board room politics, disgusting.

Sit down with the guy, tell him the club is moving on in a different direction and shake his hand and thank him for the job hes done.

Rumours of south not paying him for 14 weeks or something and now sacking over email? It's obvious those rumours are true. 1+1 = 2

Despite it being your wet dream, you will unfortinately remain dissapointed.... may i suggest you organise a stripper night to get over the pain!

Sinisa confirmed it had nothing to do with money.

Kostas Paterakis who was in Auckland hinted that something most likely went down there. Messourouni will be on 3xy in 2 weeks so not a lot will come out "officially" in the meantime.

Sikis body language in the final felt off, the substitutions he made at half time were basically throwing the towel in.

Lets not underestimate the difficulties that can arise when you have an npl club spending a whole month in another country, hell A league clubs dont even do it.

Despite it being a fantasy for the haters!

most likely, time needed to get someone in and be in posiiton to announce it .. handling has been atrocious and im not confident it wont continue to be!

100% this and we all witnessed it and rightfully posed questions at the time...

All the more reason that system with the hubs needs to change or an alternative sought bc it had a huge impact in the end as is evident.

The hubs arent ideal but at least you're only away for a week and a bit at most of them.

The last hub in Auckland was complete overkill, if the leaders/challengers system remains its something we will need to do every year (be in nz for a month)

There's talk of reduced hubs, so that should limit the impact to the regular NPL season.

There are two ways around the Leaders/Challengers Group issue:
  1. Have 5-6 players that purely focus on the NPL Victoria competition. That way, you retain continuity in tactics and interplay with the squad.
  2. If there is a 7-8 break, then bring some players back to help with the NPL Victoria competition and then fly them back if financially permitting. It will help them see their families/friends and retain some normality in their lives.
Having the squad in Auckland for the whole month of May should never be repeated again. It is just a 3.5 hour flight across the Tasman Sea. Sporting teams in Western Australia regularly fly 4 hours across the country on a weekly basis for matches.
