A-League Mens 25/26 - Semi Finals

Rubbish, ticket sales for the Jets game look very good. It seems to me like it will hit or come very lose to capacity of around 25k. Mid last week it was announced that more than 16,000 tickets had been sold, and they have sold quite a lot more since then.

Eastern Stand - Only Sydney away fans tickets left, maybe around 400.
Southern Hill - Sold out
Western Stand (lower) - Only a few hundred tickets left in each of the corners.
Western Stand (upper) - The end bays are really only left, so I would assume under 1,000 tickets left.
Northern Hill - Not sold out, not possible to tell how many sold. Given the level of sales elsewhere in the ground, I doubt there would be too many left.
Why is the Eastern stand upper deck closed?

The Stadium roof needs repairing, so for safety reasons
Pretty funny that I remembered when they built/done up the Win Stadium roof and they discovered in strong wind that the beams started flexing and had to close the whole thing again for a while whilst they remembered that the stadium is next to the ocean.

Milligan looked like angry beetroot on the sideline last weekend. Wasn't happy at all. Let's see if they respond and can get the job done on a Sydney FC that has been getting incrementally better each game.

I'm quite looking forward to seeing both these games....there's nothing much between them really.....

It's how it should be at the business end of the season and the whole reason why Australia has this finals system. I know some people will point out that our football is usually first past the post but I think 'finals' works well for the game in Australia

Agree completely, I'm a grand final guy, we should always do things the Aussie way not the Euro way, I think first past the post is really boring

I want the Jets to win just to make old mate with the backwards cap and the "Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe" tattoo happy...
Once came across a guy dressed as Dobby at McDonald Jones holding up a sign asking for socks (I had none as I was wearing thongs). Very weird but funny experience. This was a Knights game that I went to cause I was in town.

To be fair some European leagues also have playoffs (for the title, for European places and/or for promotion/relegation) and league splits. This proves that finals and pro/rel can coexist.
