2026 World Cup Squad

Milligan is still too inexperienced to go for the Socceroos job.

Once Popa finally fucks off for good I could see us going for an overseas coach again.
I disagree the need for more experience when the man is currently proving that his young side are the best in the country.
I don't believe he would be overawed by the role considering he captained the Socceroos 18 times.

...as Sydney score haha

Much the same that I don't believe Trevor Morgan couldn't adapt to finding the solutions to the challenge thrown at him IF given the opportunity to coach the senior mens national team.

I believe the skill is the transference of information and knowledge. All depends if they can work out the how.

My biggest concern about this team is our midfield. It just does not fill me with confidence. We don't have a lot of quality in there. If we go bad this World Cup that's probably going to be the cause.

All I know is I want Robertson to start, but also that he won't. I would build that centre mid pairing around him. Probs go with Devlin to disrupt and Irvine to impact later.

O'Neill and Yazbek's injuries hurt us. Balards form dip. It's too early and too big a step up for Okon. Metcalfe better wide.

Tomorrow will be one week since the first 8 players were announced for the pre-training camp. I wonder if similarly we will get another announcement tomorrow of more players joining the camp and who?
Would definitely welcome that

Which seasons are ending this week?

Jason Geria has possibly joined the World Cup pre-training camp in Florida since he wasn't in the matchday squad altogether for Albirex Niigata in their match today, but we'd expect additional player arrivals to be announced in the coming days.

It's his birthday by the looks so perhaps he was just treated to a Karaoke session.

Still no updates from the camp on social media despite having started on May 5 according to the website.
