The difference in quality between this game and the previous one is night and day. Marconi dominating but sloppy in the final 3rd.

Agree with this. Has been noted previously, potentially more so the case culturally in Adelaide just by virtue of the fact it’s quite a small place with limited resources (and people for that matter). Have shown an increased willingness to do away with history and pool together in order compete on the national stage.

They’ve done the same thing to a degree in the afl aswell

Very much that one team town mentality where as Sydney and Melbourne are more accustomed to multiple club model

Performances like this put the pressure on Sydney United, whilst they are few points ahead they have to maintain it to stop Marconi and even APIA catching up.

We were predicted to sit outside the 6.

Pressure is on the high wage spenders. Marconi, APIA and Sutho.

I remember when all the SUS boys managed to find all his personal details. Oh he was happy with the 2am phone calls. He ended up changing his number.

This was after all the Australia Cup publicity in 2022 and his articles he wrote.
